Managing Director, Studio

The role of Managing Director was a dream job. It allowed me to flex my hybrid left/right brain muscles to help transform a dynamic team of creative strategy, design, voice, video, program management, production and operations teams into a high-functioning, efficient, world-class team that serviced the entire Twitter organization including: marketing, product, brand, B2B, events, partnerships, comms, HR and more. 

We worked on everything from sexy, award winning campaigns like “Tweet It Into Existence” to the less sexy but business critical “always on” work of emails, case studies and fast-turn, culturally relevant asset needs that supported the Twitter feed’s social content, creators, product features and user moments.

Highlight: Team transformation, process evolution, morale shift and Studio reputation elevation.

Stitch Fix

VP Brand + creative

What an opportunity to be part of the rocketship growth and momentum of this pioneering data driven company. My task as VP of Brand + Creative touched every aspect of the brand expression: advertising, packaging, content, social, web/app launches and seasonal campaigns all to build brand, drive acquisition and community engagement.

 

Highlight: Experiencing “start up” mode to successful IPO and all that takes.

Yahoo

SR DIRECTOR, BRAND CREATIVE GROUP

Yahoo was a pioneer of the internet back in the 90’s but it lost its relevance and got stale. As Sr. Director of Yahoo’s Brand Creative Group, our mission was to make the daily habits of our users “inspiring and entertaining.” It was a time of product innovation, content and experiential events to reach new, younger audiences.

 

Highlight: Yahoo Mail “Autocompose” product feature + campaign that helped users craft ridiculous love notes.

 

 

77Kids by American Eagle

MARKETING DIRECTOR

As Marketing Director for this rogue start up within American Eagle, I was part of a small, innovative team on a mission to reinvent the kids shopping experience. Through reimagined store design, technology kiosks, seasonal campaign themes, events and simple “delights” this brand put the fun back in shopping.

 

Highlight: Opening NYC flagship in Times Square with interactive billboard featuring kid customers.
